21 – Another name for Black Jack. It is also the amount you can’t go over to win. There is also a movie with the name 21 about Black Jack.
5-count method – A game strategy in Craps.
Ace deuce – the amount of three in Craps.
Ace – When the dice shows a one in backgammon.
Ace point – The first “tongue” or triangles on a backgammon board.
Acey deucey – A throw in backgammon that includes two and one.
Action – The total amount of money turnover in a casino.
Active – The current stake in the dice game Craps.
Active player – The player that is active in the game.
Advantage – See “Edge”.
Air ball – A very unfortunate throw in backgammon.
All in – When a player bets all of his chips at once.
All the spots we got – The amount 12 in Craps.
American Roulette – A Roulette game with the number 38 and both 0 and 00. Worse winning odds than with the European roulette.
Anchor box – The place where the Black Jack player to get a card sits.
Any seven – A bet in Craps where the player wants to get the amount of seven. Winnings are paid 4 to 1.
Atomic Craps – The amount of 12 in Craps.
Auto play – A choice where the casino plays for you on the optimal strategy.
Baccara (1) – A card game that is the predecessor to baccarat and punto banco. Mostly played in European casinos. One player around the table acts as the bank.
Baccara (2) – The points between 0 and 5 in Baccarat.
Baccarat – A card game with some of the highest bets in the casino. The game is to beat the bank, which is represented by the casino. Is played by James Bond in the movie “Casino royal”.
Baccarat pit – A delineated area in the casino where high roller baccarat players can play without getting disturbed.
Backgammon – A board game that is played with the use of checkers and dices. It has 24 “tongues” divided on 4 areas. The player that has first gotten his chips off the board wins.
Back man – The chips that are the furthest away from a player’s “ace point”.
Banco – The player representing the bank in Baccara.
Banking game – A slot machine where the betted money gets stored in a bank. The next player has a chance to win what the previous player betted.
Bank roll – The total amount a player has decided to play with. The player’s account balance.
Bank transfer – A way to transfer money to the casino account or withdraw winnings from. Easy and safe method, especially for withdrawing winnings.
Bar point – The second most important “tongue” in backgammon. It has the number seven.
Basic strategy – A method used in Black Jack to reduce the house’s chances to win.
Basket wins – A game strategy where a player in American Roulette bets on 0, 00, 1, 2 and 3.
Basset – A card game that resembles Baccarat.
Bear in – When a player in Backgammon moves one checkers to home field before it’s taken off.
Bear off – When a player in Backgammon moves checkers off the board and the end of the game.
Beaver – A rule in Backgammon that both players have agreed to beforehand. Lets a player double directly after the opponent has doubled.
Bet – Amount of money put in to participate in the game.
Bet max – A button on slot machines that meant to make the game faster. If selected the player chooses the maximum amount.
Bet size – The size of the bet.
Betsson – Swedish online casino and betting site.
Bet 6 – A bet that a 6 will come before a 7 in the next throw in Craps.
Bet 8 – A bet that an 8 will come before a 7 in the next throw in Craps.
Big Money Wheel – An Australian version of “Big Six Wheel”.
Big Six Wheel – Resembles a lot with the fortune wheels in amusement parks. The wheel is spun by the dealer after the player has chosen a number.
Biscuit – A highly valued chip.
BJ – Short for Black Jack.
Black Jack Tournament – There are many different variants of Black Jack tournaments. A casino tournament where the goal is to win the most in a pre-determined period of time. Another one that works in the same way as a poker tournament is Elimination Black Jack. Players play against each other, and the last one left wins.
Blitz – An offensive game strategy in Backgammon. Also known as attack play.
Expose – A “tongue” in Backgammon only covered with one checker.
Bonus game – A bonus with more free games or more money that you receive on slot machines.
Bookie – Bookmaker or betting sites like Betway, Unibet, Betsson or Betfair.
Boule – A certain type of casino game that uses a spinning wheel.
Boxcars – The amount of 6 in Craps.
Boxman – The inspector at a Craps table.
Break – Another term for going above 21 in Black Jack.
Breakeven point – Means you have achieved plus minus zero. No winnings, no losses.
Burnt cards – One card is maculated before putting cards on display.
Bust – Another term for break. Player gets more than 21 in Black Jack.
Bust out – When a player has lost all its money at a certain casino
